Help / Online console
Customer console
The customer console opens from “Log in” in the top-right corner of the website. It manages your subscription and accounts; editing happens in the SceneCut app. In the app, click “Subscription” → “Open console” and you are signed in without entering your password again.
- On the website, click “Log in” → “Sign up”, then choose “Business” or “Personal”.
- Business: enter the business name and a contact person. Each business can only sign up once; colleagues are added by an admin under “Account & members”.
- Individual: enter your name; no business name is needed.
- Use a mobile number or email address as your account, and set a password.
- Scan the QR code with your phone to link an authenticator app, and save your recovery codes. See Two-step verification for the steps.
- Once your beta application is approved, we send you a sign-up link. It opens a pre-filled sign-up page; after you sign up, your trial starts right away and your activation code is waiting under “Seats & activation codes”. The link can be used to sign up only once. If it has expired, contact us for a new one.
Trial
- Click “Start trial” under “Overview” to get an activation code. The trial lasts 7 days with unlimited videos, and includes quota for voiceover, transcription, AI video and benchmark collection.
- Each account and each computer can use the trial only once. During the trial you also need to connect your own large language model in the app first; see Connect a model.
Plans & renewal
- “Plans” tab: subscriptions are per seat (Personal, 2 seats, 3 seats, 5 seats; for more than 5 seats click “Contact account manager”). Every tier has the same features. Each card shows the monthly price, the yearly price and the monthly quota included.
- Not subscribed yet: click “Subscribe”. Already subscribed: click “Renew” on your current plan, or “Switch to this plan” on another one.
- When you place an order, choose a billing period (1, 3, 6 or 12 months; 12 months is charged at the yearly price). You can add seats.
- A renewal extends from your current expiry date. A plan switch takes effect immediately and the expiry date is extended.
- After payment, activation codes are generated automatically, one per seat; collect them under “Seats & activation codes”.
- “Orders” tab: see the orders you have placed; click “Pay now” on any that are unpaid.
- While online payment is not yet available, the button reads “Contact account manager”: submit the billing period, number of seats and your contact details, and your account manager will get in touch.
- Read-only members can see plans; purchases and renewals must be made by an admin.
Top-up packs
- When the monthly voiceover, transcription, AI video or benchmark collection quota included with each seat runs out, click “Buy top-up pack” in the top-right of “Plans & renewals”.
- Top-up packs are counted separately from your plan quota and do not reset each month; your plan quota is used first. After your subscription expires, AI video and benchmark collection top-up packs can still be used.
- Voice cloning slots: each slot can be trained 15 times. We activate them after payment, and they then appear in the app under “Voices → Cloned voice”.
- AI video is charged in “standard seconds”. Before generating, the app shows how many seconds will be charged.
Seats & activation codes
- Each seat has one activation code, which can be used on only one computer at a time. If a seat is free, click “Generate activation codes”.
- To view the full activation code or copy it, enter the code from your authenticator app once; you won't be asked again for 5 minutes. The code is hidden again after 30 seconds.
- Activation codes generated early on must first be re-entered once with “Re-enter” (type in the full activation code) before they can be viewed and copied.
- Activation codes generated automatically after payment are marked “Unclaimed”; click “Show activation code” to collect them.
- Switching computers: enter the same activation code on the new computer and choose “Use on this computer”; the old computer becomes view-only. Each activation code can switch computers at most 3 times a month. If a computer breaks or the system is reinstalled, first click “Grant free switch”, and the next switch won't count.
- “Make admin”: an admin seat can manage the console when it is opened from the app; other seats can only view.
Computers, usage, downloads
- “Computers”: computers that have used SceneCut, including ones that were switched out.
- “Usage”: how much you have used this period, usage for each period, and how much of your top-up packs is left. Plan quota and top-up packs are counted separately.
- “Downloads”: Mac and Windows installers. After installing, enter your activation code.
Invoices, model keys, tickets
- “Invoices”: on a paid order, click “Request invoice”, choose a general invoice or a special VAT invoice, and enter the invoice title (full company name or your full name) and the email address to receive it. The invoice is emailed to you once issued.
- “Model keys”: large language model API Keys saved here are shared by everyone on the team; each person can also enter their own in the app under “Settings → Model services”. Once saved, a key's original text can't be viewed; it can only be replaced or deleted.
- “Tickets”: click “New ticket” and describe the problem; we reply in the ticket. Click “Close ticket” once it's resolved.
Account & members
- An admin clicks “Add member”, enters a mobile number or email address, and chooses a role:
- Read-only: view plans and usage, download the app, submit tickets;
- Admin: buy plans, and manage activation codes, computers and members.
- Adding a member generates a setup link to send to your colleague; it is valid for 72 hours. If a colleague has forgotten their password and also lost their authenticator, the admin clicks “Send reset link”.
- When you are running low on recovery codes, click “Regenerate recovery codes”.
