Help / Getting started
Quick start: from a new project to your first published video
- Connect a model: gear icon in the top-right corner → “Model services”. Click “Log in” on WorkBuddy and scan with WeChat, or enter an API Key for a Chinese model. See Connect a model.
- Create a project: on the home page, click “New project” and choose the brand, product, and offer (if there is no offer yet, paste a product link or upload an offer image and it is recognized after the project is created). Click “Create and import footage”.
- Import footage: in the import footage window that opens, click “Choose” to select the folder of footage you shot, click “Analyze”, check each group, then click “Import selected groups”. The app organizes and analyzes each clip in the background.
- Clear To do: when the project's “Footage” tab shows a number, click it to open “To do”. It holds the decisions that need you; work through them one type at a time.
- Write scripts: in the project's “Script” tab, type one sentence describing the scripts you want and click “Write scripts”. You can also use “Import scripts” to paste in existing scripts.
- Pick scripts and make videos: on the batch page, check the scripts you want and click “Make videos (N)”. Unchecked scripts stay in “To review” so you can pick them later.
- Get previews: after you make videos, the app rough-cuts them, renders previews, and runs a video check automatically. Results are under “In production” in the “Videos” tab.
- Review and revise: open a video, watch the preview, and read “Issues”. Make changes directly on the timeline, or write one sentence in “Feedback” and let AI revise it.
- Export the final video: click the main button through “Export final video” and then “Deliver”; the final video goes to Finished Videos. You can also select several videos in “In production” and click “Confirm and export final videos” to export them together.
- Publish: in “Not published” under the “Videos” tab, click “Publish” to open the publish form, check the title, description, hashtags, and cover, then click “Publish”.
Steps 5 to 7 can also be done in one go: in the project overview, click “One-click batch videos” and write one prompt. AI writes scripts, rough-cuts, self-checks, and revises, stopping at the preview stage so you can review and edit. See Projects.
